Unlike all the other professors, Lara was ready to have fun. She loved teaching charms because of this. Most of the spells the students learned were happier then those in DADA. All the windows in her room were uncovered and open. The sound of birds chirping outside just made everyone feel better. She has the necessary equipment out and a space in the back for all the students to practice their spells. It was going to be the first year Lara put all the years together. She hoped the older students would support the younger ones. Her kitten jumped on her desk, squeaking as it walked on her papers and knocked over her quill. Behind her was a board that read: [glow=red,2,300]
1st year = Lumos!
2nd = Ardor Glacio!
3rd = Expelliarmus!
4th = Ablegatio!
5th = Silencio!
6th = Glisseo!
7th = Cushion Meuscado!

Alex walked into the Charms classroom and immediately chose a seat near the front of the room. He liked Charms. But then again, he liked any class that was hands on and involved wands. Taking notes wasn't his favorite thing to do.
He greeted the Professor as he waited for other students to arrive. Alex sighed. He usually was one of the first students there.

Ailey was excited to be in charms today. She loved Professor Moore's attitude. Unlike all the other professors, it wasn't dark and dreary or even strict. Instead it was calm and relaxing. It helped her work on her spells easier when she wasn't afraid of doing something wrong and getting yelled at by the professor. As she walked in she noticed the adorable kitten on the professor's desk.
"Oh how cute! What's it's name?"

Katrina entered the Charms classroom directly behind Ailey. She rolled her eyes when Ailey started talking about the kitten, and took a seat next to Alex.
"Hey Alex. Have a good summer?"

Charms was Christian's best subject. But as he entered the Charms classroom, his spirits sank. Not only was he the oldest student there, he was also the only Slytherin. Hopefully more students showed up soon.
Trying to stay in a good mood, Christian slid into a seat in the back of the room.

No matter how much Sienna wanted to sit by Christian, she felt the liberty to welcome the new Gryffindor to Hogwarts. She sat behind her, putting her feet on the back of the girl's chair. She was like a cat, waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Trouble in every corner. Julien sighed and took a seat sort of in the middle of Sienna and Christian. Close enough to stop the danger but far enough away not to get caught up in the misfire. Charms was always an interesting class. Professor Moore seemed to be almost a student herself.

"Zis will be interesting." Cosette said as she entered the class and took a seat in the middle of the room. There were two known troublemakers already there. And Charms was just the sort of class that often led to accidents. She looked up at the Professor. Cosette hoped that she would be able to keep Christian and Sienna under control.

Lara smiled as Alex walked in but after that, the rest of the students she took no notice. All attention was on her kitten now.
"His name is Zulu. Isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen,"
With a quick motion of her hand, she set her quill back up in it's stand. Zulu sniffed it before it turned it's head to Ailey.

Katrina felt someone put their feet up on the back of her seat. She turned around to see the smirking Slytherin girl.
"Hey. Get your feet off my seat."
She knew that the girl was a lot older than her and probably knew all sorts of magic. But she was not about to let anyone push her around. In fact, if she didn't stand up for herself now, Katrina believed that she may be bullied all seven years at Hogwarts. And she was not about to let that happen.
