The hall was filled with first and second year students, each more lost then the next. Sienna found herself immensely amused by all of their mishaps. She stood off to the side on a small ledge, avoiding being run into by one of them. Instead of just watching, her wand was out and at her side barely noticeable. What was Hogwarts without a little difficulty?

Christian was walking to class when he noticed one student standing still. Sienna. He smirked as he saw the wand out. Somebody was going firstie-baiting. Grinning, he snuck up to her.
"Oy, Sienna. Practicing your charms?"
They didn't always get along. In fact, they rarely ever got along. But they did have somethings in common. They both loved antagonizing the younger students. However, even more than that, Christian loved antagonizing Sienna.
"Playing Quidditch this year? You know, if you're nice to me, I just might let you on the team."

"Charms, Jinxes, same thing."
She didn't feel the need to take her eyes off all the other students. She knew it was Christian and she knew he was up to no good like she was. Rolling her eyes, she finally looked up at him as he mentioned quidditch.
"I think you have that opposite. You're going to have to be nice to me if you ever want me to think about playing quidditch."

Christian shook his head. That was the problem with Sienna. She over-simplified everything and ignored the finer distinctions in magic. That's what made Christian's pranks so well done. He thought out every little thing. He appreciated the theories of magic and mayhem. If you just go straight into everything, you come off as a bully.
"Sienna, Sienna, Sienna. There is a fine distinction between charms and jinxes. And hexes for that matter. That's your problem. You will always be a bit of a one trick bully until you understand that."
He laughed. He gave up long time ago at trying to get her on the team. And as much as he wanted a large team, he wanted only people who actually wanted to be there.
"Nah, that's not going to happen. I rather win this year."

Sienna stared at him with a raised eyebrow. Was he really trying to teach her a lesson? The fact of it made her laugh. If he was trying to insult her it did a bad job of it.
"What are you practicing being a professor now? I think I can see you being a Divination professor. You're daft enough."
It seemed all of the professors that ever held the position were off their rockers. Each crazier then the next. She could see Christian being the next in line. Running around predicting people's life.
"Better not play then,"

Christian put on a shocked look. "Practicing being a professor? Are you serious? I'm not practicing anything. As one friend," Christian put a strong emphasis on the word 'friend,' "to another, I am simply trying to help you out. You always go straight into everything with wands ablazing. And you're going to get your butt kicked one of these days. Or if not that, then you're going to get yourself into a lot of trouble. And in case you're curious, a jinx is a spell that causes damage. Charms, while not always, are usually positive in affect. And they usually only work with an object. And hexes...they're usually associated with Dark Magic...somewhere between a jinx and a curse."
Christian sighed.
"Merton might have been a bit off but I don't think Fitzgerald is all that strange. At least it doesn't really seem like he believes all of that nonsense."

Sienna raised an eyebrow as Christian went on in full detail about how she casts spells and how one day it would defeat her. The way she went about using her wand had no affect on the outcome. She always won. As Christian continued, she ignored him, scanning the group of students again for a weakling. Rolling her eyes at Christian's lecture on type of spells, she turned her attention back to him. If only he would just shut up.
Sienna placed her wand back into her pocket and slowly took a step closer to Christian. The mere fact of him trying to show her up infuriated her.
"Oy Christian, don't need to know spells to do this,"
Pulling her arm back with her hand in a fist, she hit Christian in the face.

It was pretty obvious that Sienna was not listening. She wasn't even looking at him while he spoke. Christian just could not understand her...at least not really. Or maybe he did understand her very well. There just wasn't anything else to her. No deep emotions...no complications...with Sienna what you saw was what you got.
However, Christian did know her well enough to know that she was getting angry. In fact, she was probably getting angry enough that he was probably going to have to deal with her wrath for some time. Knowing this, Christian slowly grabbed onto his wand. He even thought of an appropriate jinx to use if he needed it.
He knew that she was going to do something. But getting punched was not what he had expected. In fact, it made him angry. He wouldn't have minded a good jinx or even a well placed hex. But Sienna, of all people, resorting to something so Muggle as punching? It almost seemed like cheating to him.
Reacting quickly, he grabbed her wrist and twisted her arm behind her back. Keeping a tight grip with his one arm, he used his other to grab her wand out of her pocket.
"Now this is what I was talking about. Getting yourself into trouble. Now you can't move and you have no wand. What are you going to do? Keep in mind, I won't hit a girl. But I don't consider you a girl. You're an low down dirty, cheating exception to that rule."

Sienna watched with amusement as her fist found Christian's face. Sure, her hand stung. She never had punched someone that hard before. But even before she could shake her hand to erase the pain, Christian had her swung around with her arm pinned back.
She took what he was doing lightly until he took her wand. That was something that bothered her. While punching him was a muggle thing. She did not steal his wand. However he used this to his advantage to take her wand. No muggle action was going to leave her magic-less.
All ready to find some way to get free, she stop everything when Christian started talking. How dare he say those things to her. Sienna was done playing nice. Normally she could easily stand the things Christian did but this just added to her anger.
With her free hand that rested at her side, Sienna pulled it back and elbowed Christian in the stomach as hard as she could. She yanked her arm free from his and turned around to face him. Grabbing his wrist that held her wand with one hand she used her other to grab it free.
"I'm sorry I'm not as womanly as you are. Luckily it isn't against my morals to hit another girl."
She stepped back and raised her wand, aiming right at his head. There was no way she was going to let him take her by surprise again.

Vyktor happened to be out and about, walking the halls and keeping up with all the stories going on in Hogwarts. Staying in his office most of the time always left him behind in the events and stories of Hogwarts. Everything he heard of normally came from the Slytherin perception, too. As he went down the hall, he saw a commotion up ahead.
He followed the crowd to see the cause of it all. There was Sienna and Christian, at it again. He paused for a moment, close to them, watching intently seeing if there was going to be harmed caused. After a quick glance around, Vyktor noticed no professors in sight.
While it was his duty to stop them and deduct points, he felt no harm was being caused. Nor did he want to be involved in their fight. With that in mind, Vyktor continued on his way.
