Javier was the last person that anyone would have expected to be a Professor. Nothing about him said 'professor.' But here he was. He had walked in a week ago with no previous experience, asked for a meeting with the Headmaster, and walked away with the position. His reasons were his own.
His room was completely undecorated. While previous Muggle Study professors always had all sorts of strange Muggle items, Javier kept his room empty.
On the board he had written his name, underlined twice.
Below that he had written several emotions.
Fear Hope Ideas
Below that he had written:
No Talking

Cosette had always found Muggle Studies a pointless but fun and easy subject. If she was able to fit it into her schedule she always took it. Eagerly walking into class, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the Professor. He was clearly new this year as she had never seen him before. In fact, he must be really new because she couldn't remember seeing him at the Welcome Feast. And he didn't look fun.
Attempting to be as quiet as possible, she slipped into a seat in the back of the room.

Rowena took every single class that she could fit into her schedule because she believed that it was her duty as Head Girl to be familiar with everything that was taught at Hogwarts. So walking into Muggle Studies, she took a seat near Cosette without looking around. Once seated she quickly wrote down what was written on the board. And then, finally she looked around the room and at the Professor. She grinned. Professor Rocheleau looked like someone who meant business. It was about time.

Being Muggleborn, Muggle Studies was not a very useful class. However, an easy class was an easy class. Plus it gave him something to do. Ben went into the class and took a seat next to Rowena.
"New Professor? This will be interesting." He whispered to her.

Maya smirked as she entered the room. She hated the class and learning about muggles. However she did enjoy the meaningless things muggles do. It was so unnecessary and absolutely hilarious. But still, in the end, she was from a pure blood family and muggles were annoying and pests. The sight of the teacher, however, brought on the smirk.
A new teacher always causes so much drama. And by the looks of him, he was going to bring fear into all of the students. But also this was going to make class that much more difficult for her. With a strict teacher, the class's difficulty always increases and becomes ten times more boring. Maya quickly took a seat off to the side and waited for things to start.

Of all the ridiculous classes and subjects to be offered, Hogwarts had to offer it and Sienna had to be in it. Even her parents objected to her being in Muggle Studies but it was hard to refuse a strong suggestion from a close friend. Sienna walked in the room, noticed the grumpy looking professor, and took a seat near the back. She yawned greatly and stretched her legs out. The sooner the class started, the quicker it would be over.

With nothing to do with his day, Anthony decided to take Muggle Studies. He heard there was a new professor and he was willing to take the challenge. When he saw the professor though, he wasn't sure if he wanted to take the challenge. This guy looked to be a strict, Slytherin-loving, almost impossible professor. One who shouldn't be teaching such a class like Muggle Studies. He took a seat by Rowena and Ben.

Jie did not want to take Muggle Studies. But his father had insisted. Jie spent a very long time arguing with him about it but no matter what arguments he threw at his father, his father won in the end. He had argued that he cannot be a well-rounded wizard without a basic knowledge in every subject...and that included Muggle Studies.
So Jie found himself darting into the Muggle Studies classroom at last minute just before class was to begin. He didn't know anyone in the room so he took a seat by himself.

There weren't many students present but he was certain there may be more wandering in in a little bit. Javier overheard Benjamin's whispering.
"Yes, new professor. And this class will most certainly interesting as it is a rather interesting subject."
Deciding it was a good enough to start class, he stood up and tapped the board.
"Hope, fear, and ideas. What do these three things have in common as they relate to Muggles."
It was a good question to get the class thinking.
