How long does it take for me to be sorted?
The time it takes to be sorted will vary from 24 to 48 hours. It depends on the hour and day you submitted your application. We will try to get you sorted as quickly as possible.
Why haven't I been sorted yet when other who posted after me have?
There may be a problem with your application. You will be notified if there is something not acceptable or needs to be explained further. The Headmaster or Minister of Magic will send you a PM if there is. After it is fixed, you will be able to be sorted and begin play.
Can I be an animagus/vampire/veela?
Yes and no. There are rules for playing characters with abilities. They either need to be submitted with the character or applied for after the character might have acquired the ability. There is a limited number for each. Please check under Character Creation for more detail. All abilities must be approved by the Headmaster or Minister of Magic.
Can I choose my own House?
No you cannot. You will be sorted according to the answers you give to your application questions. Each house has certain qualities of people. The Sorting Hats knows where you belong.
Can I have more than one character?
Yes. Feel free to create as many as you wish, as long as the site rules are followed and you keep characters active. A new account must be created for every new character.
Will there be any special events?
Yes, there will be opportunities for all the students to get together with different events. When one has been planned, all characters will be notified.
