These are easy.
1. Respect each other. No out of character fighting.
2. What JKR wrote is law. Period. Harry Potter wiki and Lexicon are both great sources for in depth detail on her work. Also look at JKR’s own site for things she had verbally amended to the books.
The following are offenses that can result in banning.
1. Power-playing - No playing your characters as all-powerful. Along those lines, first year characters could never take on a full-grown witch or wizard.
2. Godmodding - DO NOT move other characters around or assume they have done something with out permission. If you talk to a character in class and they don’t post back in a few days PM them. We all have real lives that get in the way of role playing.
3. Plot/character stealing - Similar characters will happen as will similar plot. Out and out stealing is wrong and won’t be tolerated.
4. Using out-of-character knowledge in-character - What a person thinks and says are two different things. Someone can be clinically depressed but still wear a smile. What a handler knows and what a character knows are two vastly different things. Do not use this out of character knowledge in character.
The above offenses will be dealt with in strikes. Three strikes will result in a banning from the site.
