The door for Defense Against the Dark Arts was wide open early in the morning. The room was filled with a slight leather sent, a smell related to the numerous travels Archer had taken. The room was dark, only lit by the several candles lit all through out the room. The board on the side had scribbles that made out to say: There will be no misbehaving from when the student enters the door until he or she leaves! Years 5-7 5th - Ventus, Rennervate 6th - Parum oculus, Incarcerous 7th - Enervate, Levicorpus Archer stood, leaning against his desk. There was a few dummies in the back of the class along with a table of other things. He tapped his foot patiently as he waited.

Christian gave a happy sigh when he walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. If there was one thing that he loved, it was hands-on classes. He nodded to the Professor as he took a seat near one of the dummies. Pulling out a book, Christian flipped through it to look up the spells. He grinned. This was going to be fun.

"Morning, Professor." Rowena said as she entered the room. She loved a class that was a challenge and Defense Against the Dark Arts was certainly that. Smiling to herself, she choose a seat in the front of the room and pulled out her book. There was still a few minutes before class began so she started reading.

DADA was probably one of Sienna's favorites. The professor didn't get on her nerves nearly as much as all of the rest of them. And the spells they practiced and learned always helped her. It also wasn't a boring class where they sat and listened.
She walked in and took a seat near Christian, only to see the spells 5th years were going to do. Those spells were terrible and in no way hurt anyone. Sienna frowned.

Benjamin chose a seat next to Sienna. Defense Against the Dark Arts was always a very interesting class. And like everyone else, he loved that it was a very interactive class. While accidents would occasionally happen, the best way to learn was to actually cast the spells.
He grinned when he looked up at the board. The seventh years definitely got to learn cooler spells.
"Levicorpus! Excellent."

Anthony walked in and did his usual. He glanced around the room quickly to see where to sit and continued to that seat. It was rather annoying really. He wasn't going to talk during class so why would it matter much. He slid into a seat off by himself. This class was always intriguing. He loved learning new defensive spells.
