There was no noisy boxes or strange items to transfigure in this class. Kian had planned on something a little bit more difficult. These were older students after all. And year after year he had watched them transfiguring needles and mice. It was time for everyone to start thinking bigger and more complex.
He grinned as he took his seat at his desk. This was not going to be an easy class. And he couldn't wait for it to begin.

Benjamin could not be happier to discover that Transfiguration was divided up differently this year. He did not want to admit it to himself but the hope that he would get to see Sienna made him almost gleeful. He knew that she would probably not talk to him. She would probably just stick to her fellow Slytherins and Christian would probably be there. But they did go to Hogsmeade together last year. Nothing exciting happened then or afterwards. But Sienna did know that he existed. That, at least, was hope. And he couldn't help but be even more hopeful as to what the next year would hold for them.
"Good morning, Professor." he said as he took a seat in the middle of the room, in order to leave as many open seats surrounding him as possible.

Rowena was a bit disappointed that she wasn't the first student to arrive in Transfiguration. But she wasn't surprised that Benjamin was already there. In fact, she was surprised to see that he was not Head Boy. She had really expected it.
She smiled a greeting at the Professor before taking a seat next to Benjamin. "I'm surprised you didn't get Head Boy."

Christian entered the room and took a seat by himself near the back. There were only a couple of seventh years there so far. He never liked talking to Rowena and Benjamin just bugged him.
He tapped his wand impatiently as he waited for more people to arrive, watching the occasional spark fly out of the end. It shouldn't be long. This wasn't the type of class that people usually showed up for at last minute.

Sienna wasn't grumpy as usual. Instead she was almost mischievous, wanting to just create some chaos or start a fight. At first she didn't know where to sit. She figured the easiest one to pick on was probably Ben but he seemed almost too happy to see her. Rowena was head girl and also just bugged the heck out of her. She set her books down behind Ben but continued her way to Christian's desk. She stopped and smiled.

Christian looked up to see Sienna standing there. "Can I help you?"
Leave it to Sienna to make standing look suspicious. He was certain that she was planning something. And he was certain that whatever it was that she was planning, it was not anything good. In fact, it was probably something that he was going to get into trouble for.
He pointed at Benjamin. "You passed your boyfriend's desk."

It was always the same usual people in every one of his classes. It seemed everyone was taking every class this year. Sienna and Christian seemed to be doing what they usually were doing. Not wanting to get mixed up in that, he took a seat off to the side away from everyone.
