Rowena yawned as she joined the rest of the students waiting in the corridor for class to begin. She wasn't bothered so much by being out late, but this was seriously cutting into the time that she used for studying. And in her eyes, the subject wasn't so necessary. And the Professor creeped her out.

Araloue Mae’s usual smile was absent, after all she did not enjoy the dark. Her arms stretched above her head trying to shun the tired gripping at her joints. It was after all rather late and she was tired. Her green eyes watched and listened to the movements surrounding her the loudest being other students. She found it very amusing just how much the Slytherin girl sucked up to professor Berriel especially since she found no meaning in the other students, not even the ones from her own house. Mae would never say anything aloud though, she knew much better than to go looking for trouble.

"*Să ne începem."
Vyktor clapped his hands and straightened up. By now all the students who were going to show up, had.
"Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures. I am Professor Berriel. Follow me."
Vyktor took the students just down the hall and into a small unused room. Once inside the students would find several seats set out and a large cage shaped object with a cloth covering it. Vyktor waited in the front until all the students were in their seat.
"A Pixie is a small, bright blue mischief-maker, and loves tricks and practical jokes. It is able to fly, and enjoys lifting people up by their ears and depositing them on the tops of trees and buildings, showing incredible strength for creatures of their size."
Vyktor paced back and forth, mumbling all of this in his heavy accent. He held his hands behind his back, occasionally bring them forward to help explain it. Not once did his eyes move to the students. Most of the time they stared at the floor as he moved. When he finished he went to the cage. He lifted the cover, exposing five Cornish Pixies.
"Mr. Labrie can you identify this specific type of Pixie?" *Let's begin

Christian could not keep from grinning when the Professor began talking about pixies. He knew all about pixies. In fact, he knew more about pixies than most students should know as he had first hand experience with them. In his third year he had managed to acquire a crate of Cornish pixies which he had then released in a busy corridor right as classes were being let out. One student ended up in a trash can and a professor had her wand snapped in half. Even though he got caught, he couldn't have asked for better results. It was this prank that forever gave him the reputation as a troublemaker and the go-to guy for anyone wanting to start up a bit of mischief.
"I'm not very familiar with pixies but I believe those look a little bit like Cornish pixies. But I may be mistaken."

Vyktor laughed loudly at Christian's response. That kid was putting up a huge act and it was quite obvious. In fact, some of these pixies were from his prank. Vyktor never could get a hold of pixies but after his prank, there was more than enough.
"That is correct! Three points to Slytherin."
He turned his attention to the cage for a second, staring at one pixies especially as if flew around.
"These are Cornish Pixies, probably one of the most common kinds. Native to Cornwall, these guys are no fun. In Cornwall in the 17th century, Dymphna Furmage, a witch on holiday, was abducted by pixies. This led to a lifelong fear of them, which drove her to request that the British Ministry of Magic humanely eradicate the pixie species. Her request was declined, and she died in 1692."
Sure it was useless trivia but there wasn't a ton to say about pixies. He couldn't release them for the students to get a better look at them. That would just be chaotic.
"I want everyone to write a paper on Pixies by next class. I do not care what exactly it is about but it must be true! If you wish to see the pixies up close, now is the time. If not, feel free to write your paper now or go on your way."
